Maru Pradesh is a well-recognized Non - Governmental Organization (NGO), established in yr. 2000 with the aim of development, peace, prosperity, welfare of peoples of the undeveloped region of Rajasthan i.e. "Maru Pradesh". Time to time e organize various human welfare programs, but soon we realized that the problem of human being cannot be carried up if the state is really bigger in size. Taking all the problems in consideration on 9th March 2001 at Karni Mata, Deshnok . We decided to take up Maru Pradesh Movement.
On 9th Nov. 2008 youth generation of nine districts at Bikaner decided to carry out an agitation for the formation of Maru Pradesh and constituted Maru Pradesh Nirman Morcha and lastly Mr. Jaaibir Godara was elected as the President of the Maru Pradesh Nirman Morcha. |

Rajasthan Development Report of Planning Commission Government of India, at page 31 & 32 says :
"Industrial development in Rajasthan has suffered from a number of flaws. The basic flaw that industry is concentrated in only eight districts. These districts are Jaipur, Alwar, Ajmer, Pali, Bhilwara, Udaipur, Kota & Jodhpur." None of these districts belongs to Maru Pradesh.
The above statement doesn’t show the whole picture. There are a lot more difference in Maru Pradesh and Rest of Rajasthan few are listed below : |
